Ydun is a privately held Prague based company that has developed a new lead-free generation of automotive SLI batteries.
The project has been inspired by the European Union lead-ban legislation of 1.7.2006.

March 1st 2012
Mass production has been started in cooperation with the Czech company Greenbattery. The battery will be commercially available during May 2012.
November 15th 2011
The first licence agreement has been signed with Greenbattery which will start manufacturing of the lead-free battery during 2Q of 2012.
